BaZi Master Class
A progressive learning pathway designed to take you from strong BaZi foundations towards deeper chart analysis, interpretation and timing.
Each level builds upon the reasoning and analytical framework established in the level before it.
BaZi is easier to understand when the foundations come first.
BaZi contains many interacting concepts. The challenge is not simply learning more rules, but understanding when those rules matter, how they relate to one another and what evidence should guide your analysis.
The BaZi Master Class is therefore organised progressively. Fundamental concepts are introduced first, then developed into increasingly detailed analytical and interpretive skills.
Build understanding in the correct sequence.
Understand the System
Learn the language, structure and relationships that form the basis of a BaZi chart before moving into deeper interpretation.
Learn to Reason
Examine the Day Master, elements, structure, relationships and timing using evidence from the chart rather than isolated keywords.
Develop Interpretation
As the foundation becomes stronger, progressively apply the analytical framework to increasingly detailed chart interpretation and timing.
A programme designed to grow with your understanding.
The Master Class will develop progressively. Each stage builds upon the principles, vocabulary and analytical habits established earlier.
Foundations of BaZi
Develop the essential framework for understanding a BaZi chart, including the Four Pillars, Day Master, Five Elements, Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, Ten Gods, strength, introductory interactions and timing.
Explore Level 1Developing Analysis
Build upon the Level 1 foundation with deeper analytical work, more complex chart relationships and increasingly integrated reasoning.
Detailed curriculum and enrolment information will be introduced when this level is ready.
Advanced Interpretation
Progress towards increasingly sophisticated chart interpretation, integration of timing and deeper application of the analytical framework.
The final scope will be developed as the Master Class curriculum evolves.
Advanced & Practitioner Study
Further levels may extend into detailed case analysis, timing techniques and practitioner-oriented application as the LearnBaZi curriculum develops.
Begin with Level 1.
Level 1 establishes the knowledge and analytical framework needed before progressing into deeper BaZi study.
Build a structured BaZi foundation.
Across 5 modules and 15 core lessons, Level 1 introduces the major components of a BaZi chart and teaches you how to begin connecting those components systematically.
- Understand the structure of a BaZi chart.
- Work with Yin, Yang and the Five Elements.
- Understand Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches.
- Learn the role of the Ten Gods.
- Assess whether the Day Master is Strong or Weak.
- Begin integrating interactions and timing.
- Develop a repeatable introductory reading process.
Observation before interpretation.
Throughout the Master Class, students are encouraged to distinguish between what is present in the chart, how those components interact and what can reasonably be interpreted.
Identify the Evidence
Begin with what the chart actually contains rather than an assumed meaning or predetermined conclusion.
Understand the Relationships
Examine how the Day Master, elements, structure and interactions relate to one another.
Develop Contextual Meaning
Move into interpretation only after the relevant evidence and analytical context have been established.
A structured pathway for serious BaZi learning.
Start here if you are…
- New to BaZi and want to learn systematically.
- Self-taught but find your knowledge fragmented.
- Familiar with terminology but unsure how to analyse a chart.
- Looking for a clear progression from foundations to deeper study.
- Interested in developing reasoning rather than memorising keywords.
The programme is designed to develop…
- Strong technical foundations.
- Consistent analytical habits.
- Clearer chart-reading sequence.
- Evidence-based reasoning.
- Progressively deeper interpretation skills.
Begin with the foundation.
